Bridging the Gap 2024
Dear Friends, Supporters and Valued Donors,
Thank you so much for your incredible support and participation in our 2nd Annual Bridging the Gap Community Event and Fundraiser. Your attendance, donations, auction bids, and efforts to spread the word have made this event a resounding success.
Thanks to your generosity, we raised nearly $3,200 from our amazing donors and bidders. A special thank you goes out to Long Table Brewhouse for graciously hosting the event and to Rustic Nomads for providing the delicious food that everyone enjoyed. It was a great time all around enjoying good company, conversation and sharing updates about our GAP Program and Study Abroad Scholarship Recipients.
We are thrilled to share that we have $1,460 of matching funds remaining. With a few more contributions, we can unlock the full potential of these matching funds and come even closer to our $7,000 goal. This goal is within reach if we sell all remaining auction items, which are available for one more week. These items include Family Four Packs to the Denver Zoo and the Denver Contemporary Art Museum, an Urban Air Kids Birthday Party, a 1 heavily discounted 1-month Trial Family membership at Club Greenwood, Comedy Works date nights, a Comrade Brewing gift card and a Let’s Roam Scavenger Hunt Experience.
Please note, the auction is open for only one more week, ending on 8/8 at 8 PM MST. We encourage you to share this opportunity with friends and family who might be interested in supporting a great cause while enjoying these fantastic items.
Reaching our $7,000 goal will have a profound impact on our International Education Equitable Access Pipeline (IEEAP).
It will enable us to support 20 student passports through upcoming GAP Programs at Denver East High School and Colorado State University, as well as fund two study abroad scholarships while bringing our scholarship endowment savings to 15% of the total goal. These funds will make a significant difference in the lives of the students we serve, opening up new opportunities and empowering them to achieve their dreams.
