2024 Milestones
Dear Friends of World at Hand,
As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank you—our donors, partners, volunteers, monthly supporters, and advocates of World at Hand. Your unwavering support has been the foundation of a truly remarkable year, and we are so grateful for your partnership in our mission. As we celebrate this new year and holiday season—whether it’s Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply the joy of gathering with loved ones—we extend our warmest wishes to you and your family for the year ahead.
This year has been transformative for World at Hand. Together, we’ve achieved incredible milestones:
Continued our Global Access Passport (GAP) Program, reaching a total of 25 passports provided since 2022, helping students take their first steps toward international opportunities.
Awarded our second study abroad scholarship to a local low-income, first-generation student, making their dream of studying abroad a reality.
Created pilots for upcoming programs, including Dreamers Abroad and What’s Next, which are set to officially launch in 2025.
Completed the CRC Grant Corps program and earned an Advanced Dialogue Facilitation Certification, further strengthening our capacity to deliver impactful programs and access additional funding sources.
Secured our first-ever grant from the Colorado Trust and welcomed our first business sponsorship from Denver International Airport (DEN) through the 2nd Annual Bridging the Gap event.
Celebrated the conclusion of the Blessed to Be a Blessing (B2BAB) era by earning national recognition for our DEIA work through the prestigious IIE Empower Award.
Successfully rebranded to World at Hand, better reflecting our mission and positioning us for future growth and impact.
These accomplishments have set the stage for even greater achievements in 2025:
Award 50 passports through the GAP Program.
Pilot the Dreamers Abroad and What’s Next? programs.
Host 8 informational sessions, reaching 240 students across the state.
Award 6 new study abroad scholarships to deserving students.
