Dear Friends of World at Hand,
You're Invited to the 4th Annual Bridging the Gap Block Party & Fundraiser!
Last summer, our community came together for the 3rd Annual Bridging the Gap Block Party & Fundraiser, raising more than $8,500 to expand support for Colorado students through World at Hand's Global Scholars Pathway.
Since then, with the continued support of our community, World at Hand has been able to
Award 19 study abroad scholarships to Colorado students
Support 10 returned study abroad students through our Beyond Borders professional development program
Launch a partnership with the Foundation for International Education (FIE) that will send two student leaders each year to the Student Global Leadership Conference in London
Establish the World at Hand Scholarship Fund to provide ongoing support for future students
This year's Block Party will help us continue that momentum while investing in the next generation of global scholars.

Recognition of our 2026 students and alumni
Student stories and reflections from this summer's international experiences
Free community BBQ and drinks (donations accepted)
Family-friendly games and activities
Music and entertainment
Community connections with students, families, volunteers, and supporters
Our annual online silent auction

You don't have to attend the Block Party to participate!
Auction Opens: Saturday, August 29 at 12:00 PM
Auction Closes: Sunday, August 30 at 4:00 PM
Bid from anywhere and help support scholarships, passports, and student development programs while taking home some great items from our community partners.
Double Your Impact
Thanks to Denver International Airport and The Colorado Trust, donations to this year’s Bridging the Gap campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,500.
The match is available now through September 30, or until the full matching fund is claimed.
For those who would like to support this year’s fundraiser, your gift will go twice as far in supporting scholarships, passports, and student development opportunities for Colorado students.
